17 Months Old

My boy at 17 months old. He is pure joy...except when hungry or tired...but really, I'm the same way... just a little more patient than he is. With his ever growing vocabulary and understanding we gain an appreciation for the little things in life.

These Two

These two are always stealing my heart. But, I guess its not stealing when you give it away.  

When you are home everyday, all day, you can really become uninspired by your surroundings. But lately I've rediscovered how much I love finding beauty in the everyday moments.

And I just had to throw in one of Archie and his grandpa from Christmas Eve. Be still my heart. 

Lazy Sunday

And all of a sudden it was the end of December and I realized I had no pictures of Archer from my real camera. This lazy Sunday at home with my boys was the perfect time to remedy the situation. I love these images because they are classic Archie. And grainy black and white...be still my heart.

Archie in the Tub

Archie's favorite time of day, besides when Papi comes home. First we play, then we bathe, then when he starts to rub those eyes we call it clean and he goes down for a nap, usually. Oh sweet baby, I love your big brown eyes.

Afternoon Nap

It has been a dreary, snowy Halloween and I forgot to get Archer a costume. But, when I went to get Archer from his afternoon nap that beautiful golden sun was piercing through the window and well, sometimes real life is just beautiful!

Tanner's Orchard

Perfect afternoon at Tanner's Orchard. We watched our babies run and jump over pumpkins and bales of hay.

Archer Lately

At fourteen months old, Archer is into doing his own thing. . .Running wild and free and studying everything in his path.
